(Scope of review before the Supreme Court)

Practice of filing a review in every matter before the Supreme Court – deprecated. Directions to impose costs in every matter that is frivolous and vexatious

Record of the case and the law on the subject. It becomes evident that these petitions seek to rehear matters already settled in the judgment under review. These petitions do not disclose any new or important evidence, nor do they point to any error that is apparent on the face of the record. In fact, the issues raised in the review petitions appear to be a mere reiteration of arguments that have already been considered and rejected by this Court. Therefore, we find that there is no ground made out for the review of the impugned judgment and are of the view that the present petitions are completely frivolous and vexatious.
